Simple BB Cream

I have always been a fan of the Simple skincare range.  I have very sensitive skin so a brand that uses the tag line "Sensitive skin experts" proved to be an obvious choice for me.  So when I spotted that they had released their own BB Cream I was very excited to try it out.

Firstly lets look at what it claims to do:-
"Discover our Perfecting Beauty Balm: it moisturises, evens out skin tone, blurs imperfections & fine lines, and even protects your skin from UVA and UVB (SPF15), all in one go!"

The first thing that struck me is that there is only one shade, it claims to be a universal, one colour suits all product.  Unfortunately I don't believe this is the case.  Just looking at it in the tube it is very yellow toned and much too dark for fair skinned people like me.

Once you blend the product out you start to see quite large chunks of glitter.  This is not the slight shimmer to add a healthy glow that you would want from a BB cream.  This gives more of a "Edward Cullen in daylight" effect.

As for coverage, I don't believe there is much at all. Personally I would like slightly more from a BB cream or tinted moisturiser.  I also don't think there is much of a blurring quality to this cream as every line and crease are still very visible on my hand.

To summarise I'm rather disappointed by this product, which rather upsets me as I had high expectations for this BB cream given my love for other Simple products.

If you would like to hear my views on any other Simple products let me know in the comment.  I promise they will be more positive.
