So, after my rather negative review of the Simple BB Cream I thought I would share with you my thoughts on some of the other Simple skincare products in my skincare routine. Simple is by far my favourite skincare brand and 99% of the products I use on a daily basis are by Simple.
Simple - Purifying Cleansing Lotion
This is the product I use to remove my makeup. I have very dry skin so a lotion formula is great for me. It removes all my makeup without drying out my skin. I would either apply a small amount to a cotton pad or just massage it in with my fingers before rinsing it away.
Simple - Refreshing Facial wash Gel
If I feel that I need a little bit extra after using the cleansing lotion I use the facial wash gel. This facial wash is very gentle, non-scented and foams up really easily. Nic also uses this! I try not to use this everyday as it can be slightly more drying than the lotion.
Simple - Smoothing Facial Scrub
I use this every two to three days. It's not too harsh as it is made with rice granules to gently exfoliate and brighten the skin.
Simple - Deep Cleansing Face Mask
The last product by Simple is their face mask. I use this about once a week and normally while I'm in the bath. This mask is great at drawing out deep down dirt and impurities.
Aveeno - Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion
To top it all off I then use the Aveeno Skin Relief lotion. Aveeno uses oats and shea butter to create a super creamy thick lotion, great for dry, irritable skin. If you have oily skin then this is not for you.
