Halloween Makeup

I was going for the hungry vampire look.  I don't have the fangs or creepy contacts so just worked with what I had.

I used the palest foundation and concealer shades I have, which for me, is not that far from my actual skin tone, to create my base.  I then filled in my eyebrows as usual before contouring my face with a mixture of purple, grey and blue eye shadow. I then used a white eye shadow to highlight my cheek bones and brow bone.

For my eyes I used a mixture of red, purple and black eye shadow to create that 'punched in the eyes look' before adding liner and mascara. I then draw lines using brow eye shadow on a wet brush to create a vain like effect.  To add some extra dimension I applied a small amount of black down one side of each brown line. I finished off the look with a deep red lip.

I then went on to apply some non-waterproof mascara and let this run down my cheeks just to see what effect this would have on the look.  I really liked the way it turned out.

What are you going as this Halloween?
