Louise: Benefit Cosmetics

This weekend my best friend and I celebrated Christmas early by exchanging presents, making Christmas biscuits and singing along to Christmas songs as we weren't going to see each other again before Christmas. She bought me the Best of Benefit box, which I was and still am, very excited about. I think it's a great gift for a makeup addict and especially good for someone who is new to the brand, like me, as it includes sample sizes of all Benefit's best sellers. The kit contains, the Porefessional primer, Benetint, Highbeam, Boi-ing concealer, Hoola bronzer, They're Real push up liner and They're Real mascara.

Whilst me and my friend celebrated an early Christmas, my boyfriend Nic was in London for the weekend and surprised me with a little gift when he returned on Sunday, which was also from Benefit. He bought me the World Famous Neutrals Palette! This is a gorgeous little palette consisting of 4 shimmer eyeshadows and two cream eyeshadows.

I love these shades, perfect everyday shimmer. Below is the everyday look I created using both kits. I used Porefessional primer under my usual Maybelline Better Skin foundation, Boi-ing concealer under my eyes, Benetint on my cheeks and lips, Highbeam on my cheekbones and Hoola to contour and bronze. For my eyes I used Birthday suit cream eyeshadow as my base, Call my buff to highlight my brow bone and inner corner, It's Complicated over the lid and Kiss Me I'm Tipsy to line my upper and lower lash line. To top it all off I applied a coat of They're Real mascara.
