Firstly, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I'm not going to include anything that I got for Christmas in my favourites this month as I've only had a few days to try them out, although I know already that many of them will be appearing in my January favourites.
I don't have many favourites this month as I haven't been trying anything new, however I do have a few Benefit products. If you read my post a few weeks ago you would know that my friend gave me the 'Best of Benefit' kit. From this my most used products have been the Porefessional primer and the They're Real mascara. I had never found a primer that really works on my skin until this one. It's nice and light and a little bit goes a long way. It really helps keep my foundation in place, even in my more problematic areas. The They're Real mascara quickly became one of my top mascaras ever and I will definitely be purchasing both full sized products.
My last beauty product is also from Benefit. It is their cream shadow in My Two Cents. I don't quite know how to describe this colour, it's somewhere between a gold and a bronze. I have been using this both as a base and on its own and I love it! I think this colour really compliments my blue eyes and makes them pop.
This month I finished reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. I really enjoyed this book, however like many people, I was slightly disappointed with the ending. I would still recommend this to anyone looking for a good read.
Now I know I said I was not going to include anything I got for Christmas in this post but I do have one exception. Throughout the whole of December I had been wanting to watch Love Actually. I was checking the TV guide everyday to see if it was on, but I either couldn't find it or missed it. Then rather coincidently I received the DVD as a present from Nic's parents on Christmas morning. I love this film and it is definitely one of my favourite films to watch over the festive period. After waiting all month we finally sat down and watched it on Saturday evening.
My favourite song this month is Something I Need by Ben Haenow and I am not ashamed to say this has been on repeat ever since the X Factor final!
My favourite fashion item this month has been my Christmas jumper from Peacocks. It's definitely the best Christmas jumper I have ever owned. I just love the little teddy bears.
What have you been loving this month?
Louise
