To make these crackers you will need:-
- Decorative Card (or if your feeling creative, plain card to decorate yourself)
- A Pen
- Scissors
- Tape
- Ribbon
- And your fillers
I chose to use this piece of card (it's actually a recycled gift bag). Once you have chosen your card you need to trace your template onto the reverse side. This template is about A4 size, this will make a standard sized cracker.
Once you have traced out your template its time to cut it out. You'll want to cut around the outside and also cut out the diamond shapes.
You then want to tuck in the first two tabs you created (this is where you may need some tape on the inside to make sure its secure) and wrap your ribbon around the first end pulling it tight and securing it with a bow. Then its time to start stuffing! I used these white paper shreds and Nic's favourite sweets.
Once you've put in all your treats you can do up the final tab and add your ribbon. The final crackers should look something like this. I've popped these in Nic's stocking for Christmas day.
I'm so excited for Christmas now!
If you make your own crackers be sure to tweet me your pictures so I can see them!
