I hope you all had a lovely day yesterday, however you were celebrating and with whoever you chose to spend the day with. Nic and I chose to have a very relaxed, lazy day topped off with a lovely meal at Le Fleur du Jardin.
Nic had arranged to have roses delivered to the flat that morning which was a lovely surprise. We then exchanged presents in bed with a cup of tea. We had banned each other from buying chocolate this year as we have lots left over from Christmas that we still haven't got round to eating.
I got Nic a lovely Marvel themed leather bound notebook, a little something from Burtons and a nice big card. Nic spoilt me with a Soap and Glory Hair turban, two Zoella Fizz Bars and the Sims 4!
Of course I then had a bath using the fizz bar and installed sims. That was my afternoon gone.
I painted my nails with Tanya Burr, Mini Marshmallows and put Maybelline Knitted Gold over the top. I wasn't sure how I felt about the bigger glitter in the Maybelline polish but I love the small gold glitter, especially over the top of the pale pink.
For dinner I wore this cream blouse with pink flowers from New Look, with plain black leggings and my Boohoo boots. I also took my pink Accessorise bag.
I apologise for the quality of this photo but as the sun had set we only had electric light and in our flat this means yellow spotlights!
Le Fleur Du Jardin is the perfect place for a Valentines day meal. When we arrived the candles were lit and the wood burning fire was on, it was lovely. The food was also amazing but I forgot to photograph it as I was too excited.
