Louise: August Favourites

At the end of July I won a hamper from Stonelakes Pharmacy worth £40 and in that hamper was a body wash from Boozi Cocktails. I had not heard of this brand before and would never have picked this up myself however it smells amazing! I have the one in French Martini so it's a mixture of pineapple, raspberries and lemon. It foams up really well so you hardly need any. I have been using this all month and have hardly made a dent.

The second product I have been throughly enjoying this month is the Vitamin C Skin Reviver serum by the Body Shop. I haven't really tried out many serums before but this one caught my attention. I have been using this underneath my moisturiser (even though it actually says to use it over the top) and I love it. It is so smooth and has a primer type texture to it but it is not too thick. I am not overly keen on the scent as it smells like a fake orange fragrance but I love the actual product too much to let this put me off. I also tried a sample of the new moisturiser from the same range and loved that too so will purchase the full size next time I pop into the store.

As for makeup, I picked up the Mary-Lou Manizer by The Balm from the Feel Unique sale. I've always struggled to find a highlighter that shows up on my pale skin but this one is beautiful! I love that it is more of a golden tone. I have been dusting this lightly over my cheek bones and brow bone and it really is lovely. I love that is also comes with a large mirror.

When I was in Brighton I picked up All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. I had heard a lot about this book so when we passed Waterstones I knew I wanted to go inside to find it! It is a lovely story and really gripping.
