If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you will know that Nic and I went to Brighton last week for a little get away. We stayed for 3 nights in the Premier Inn Hotel and did mainly sightseeing and of course, some shopping!
Living on an island we are very used to being close to the sea but nothing like the Brighton seafront. Unfortunately it wasn't the brightest of days and was quite windy.
The sun came out the next day and so we walked down to the Pavilion Gardens and made quite good friends with the local squirrels. We don't have squirrels in Guernsey so we were a little bit excited.
One thing I knew I wanted to do was go for Dinner at Jamie's Italian and it did not disappoint. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and lovely food!
On the last night we went back down to the seafront to see it all lit up.
