This one is rather different to all the other Halloween looks I have done so far as they have all been based on Human characters. For Halloween look number 6 I have done the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland. This look in based on the Tim Burton version rather than the original animation.
I did nearly the entire look using my cheap Amazon eyeshadow palette! The only other products I used were a black kohl liner, a white kohl liner and a black liquid liner.
I started off by using the white liner to mark out the lines for the mouth, eyes and nose. Then once I was happy with the shape I used the black to draw in the mouth and teeth before filling in the teeth with the white liner.
Then using black and green eyeshadows I started to create small hair like strokes on my forehead. I used more silver tones around my eyes and down the nose avoiding the pink 'cat nose' area.
I continued using the silver and black under the eyes, this time dragging the strokes outward towards the hairline. I then took some black around the eyes to darken this area a bit more.
This was the point at which my boyfriend came home and had a bit of a shock!
I used the same green and black shadows to create fur like strokes below the mouth and using a mixture of brown and pink eyeshadows I coloured in the nose, adding some detail with the black. I then used liquid eyeliner to complete the eyes and added some mascara.
Using the liquid eyeliner I drew myself some little whiskers and thats the look finished.
I quite like this one although it was a pain to wash off!
