This post is a little late, never the less I thought I would share with you what were some of my favourite things during October.
My first favourite this month is the real techniques duo-fiber cheek brush. I have actually been using this to apply my foundation! I never thought of using a fluffy brush with liquid foundation before but this brush really works. I have been using this with my Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation and it creates a really nice flawless base. As this is a duo-fibre brush it does not absorb any of the foundation meaning nothing is wasted.
In my Birchbox this month I received the Seche Vite top coat. I had heard a lot about this product but didn't really believe that any top coat would dry within seconds but this one actually does! It's amazing! Not only does it dry really fast but it lasts really well too.
Nic actually picked up this St Ives Apricot Scrub for himself but when I saw it in the bathroom I could not resist giving it a try! It is quite a harsh facial scrub but its not drying. It does not have an overpowering scent and it leaves your skin silky smooth.
My fashion favourites this month have been polo neck jumpers, especially this one from New Look in grey and white stripe, and these brown ankle boots, also from New Look. Both these items are affordable and really comfortable!
I also loved creating Halloween looks this month. If you missed any you can check them out in the side bar. I also enjoyed all the other Halloween festivities, choosing and carving our pumpkins.
Finally, how can I post an October favourites with out mentioning the new series of Once Upon a time! Have you been watching it?
