Louise: Blogmas #9 Christmas Cupcakes

I wanted to have a go at some Christmas themed cupcakes. I kept these pretty simple as I was making them with my 3 year old niece and just used a basic vanilla sponge recipe. I made basic icing with icing sugar, butter and a dash of milk, added some green colouring and piped this onto my cooled cakes. I then crushed up a candy cane and sprinkled the bits over the top of the cakes.
